Brand new and spacious and tastefully decorated with all the little comforts of home. Situated in the main street it is within 2 minutes walk of everything and fantastic value for money. " This the newest motel in Merriwa, part of B & B on Bettington.
Peter and Pam have put a lot of research in creating one of the best Motel rooms we have ever stayed in ! There is everything you need for a comfortable stay - Beds No. 1, comfy, plenty of pillows, electric blankets, snugly doonas, and lovely knitted throws.Each of the 6 rooms are individually decorated, no more boring run of the mill motel linen ! There is a 2 door fridge - no more hassling with space for large bottles or things you've bought with you, Microwave, Kettle, Toaster, plenty of glasses (wine & tumbler) and mugs. The bathroom has plenty of room to move and actually has somewhere for 3 or more toiletry bags can stay. Even have disposable razors in with the usual shampoo etc.!! It is a breath of fresh air to at last have a decent Motel in Merriwa and we will be definitely be staying again. Pam is very enthusiastic about their new venture and introduces you personally to your motel room - something that doesn't happen very much these days ! Congratulations Pam and Peter !!"

Walking distance to everything! Great cafes, RSL for meals which are fabulous, public swimming pool right next door. Owners very welcoming and reception has an outstandingly DVD library for guests "

" Not very often I feel compelled to write a review about motels as most motels are pretty forgettable but this must be one of the best motels I have stayed in. This is a brand new motel with huge spacious rooms, very tastefully decorated, with a covered verandah out the front complete with outdoor seating. I felt like a guest staying in someone's house with the decorative pillows on the bed with throws. Appreciated the full size fridge, microwave, desk and hanging space. Would be great for an extended stay. Right in the heart of the main street (attached to the old bank B&B) within 2 minutes walk or less of eateries and shops. If you are looking for accommodation on the Golden Highway this is the place to stay. Great value for money only wish I could have stayed longer. "
